This sweater is knit on the diagonal which makes it very flattering for those with a few pounds that they'd like to hide.  There are multi techiques used in most every area which show the yarn off to it's best advantage.  The yarn itself is made in Italy and is 100% cotton.  This is one of my favorite sweaters to knit.  I have knit 3 of them and the degree of difficulty is Advanced but I simply love yarn and the outcome.  I own one myself and love the short sleeves that are so complimentary also.  I wear my sweater 3 seasons of the year with stronger colored slacks in the Spring and Fall.  I have never failed to get compliments on it when I wear it because it is so unique.  I knit this sweater in a Medium.  There is a faiir amount of give to it, however.  The cowl is sold separately and is priced at $42.
